NAUTIC TOURS ✔ NAVIGATION CANAL QUEILEN Our tour begins departing from Castro heading south to enter Chonchi, then go along the Yal channel towards Queilen. On our way we will see open fields for agriculture and native forests in the sector Agoni. Then, the road skirts the cliffs with a great view towards the Andes mountains and volcanoes Michimahuida and Corcovado. Finally, we reach Queilen (tail tip) where we will go to the sector and large beach promenade. In the spring Queilen Kawesqar take the boat, led by their captain Jorge Loaiza, who to set sail, we will lead first to the Islote Conejos, where we will have the opportunity to see a colony of Magellanic penguins nesting place. Then we dirijiremos to Quilun sector, near the Tranqui Island, to have the chance to spot southern dolphins. Usually they play around the boat performing spectacular stunts. We may also observe ducks quetrus, shearwaters Negras, Magellanic penguins, and if we are lucky we can see the elusive Chilean Delfin Also known as Cahuel. Our tour begins with removal of passengers from the hotel to take appropriate heading north along the Panamerican Highway to the intersection Chepu. Then we take the detour and internaremos us to the coast by a large valley bordering the river with large patches of dead trees protruding from the water to Puerto Anguay, where we take the boat led by Don Fernando who interned us upriver past the River great, the lagoon and the Coluco River.
