Cancellation Policy  You may cancel charter (S) up to 24 hrs in advance without penalty. No- shows and late cancellations will be charged in full. Due to the intimate size of our operation, any cancellations affect us significantly as reservations are taken based on existing bookings that have already been made. Therefore, once a reservation is made and secured, the spaces are considered booked and held for you and we have turned away other paying guests. Thank you for your consideration.  Weather Policy We will not operate charters or excursions during unsuitable and unsafe weather conditions. In the event of charter or excursion cancellation by Talbot’s Adventures, every effort will be made to accommodate guests on other available excursions or charters if convenient for the participating guest(s). Should this not prove possible, the guest shall not be charged for the cost of the cancelled charter or excursion. Our company will make the final decision regarding suitable weather and/or sea conditions. Our company will take into account the current weather observations where possible at the location where the excursion will take place. Cloudy weather will not constitute unsuitable weather conditions for an excursion. Rain will not constitute unsuitable weather conditions for an excursion unless heavy rain continues for longer than 30 minutes at the time and location of the excursion departure or in the excursion destination. It should be noted that rain in the Turks and Caicos Islands can be intermittent, localized and often short lived. Other weather guidelines include: a. Water based excursions will not operate if thunder or lightening is occurring in the location or near vicinity of the excursion. b. Water-based excursions will not operate if wind speeds or the wind forecast is greater than 25 knots during the excursion time. c. Water-based excursions will not operate if wave predictions exceed 2.5 metres in the location of the excursions or in the direct route through which the excursion must pass in order to reach the excursion destination. Our company will use the ‘Providenciales’ location on the Wind Guru-weather prediction program for weather data as cited above. If the guests prefer to wait for immediate weather to pass, the full time allotted for the excursion cannot be guaranteed. Guests may be offered a pro-rated refund based on the actual time of the excursion conducted if excursions depart late or return early due to adverse weather conditions. This cannot be guaranteed due to the costs involved for distance travelled by boat and/or vehicle but every effort will be made to ensure fair value for money.
