At Guincho Beach we teach the first level of kitesurfing, you will learn everything related to flying different kites, basics of meteorology and safe rescue. All the material includes a wetsuit, insurance, and transportation if needed. All our instructors are certified by IKO International kiteboarding Organization. You will get a certification after your complete courseWhat are you going to learn?Day 1 – “Learn the wind”, how to check condition, learn equipment, set up, safety measures, initial techniques and first contact with the Kite. Fly the kite on the safety zone and power zone hooked into the harness. Safe-rescue lessonDay 2 – Fly the kite dragging your body on the water, with both hands and one hand. Practice how to re-launch from the water. Practice safe rescue on the water/ board recoveryDay 3 – Total knowledge of priority rules, intro to board, water start and navigate both sides.
