About This Wakeboarding Experience

Getting Started

Our British Waterski and Wakeboard qualified staff will guide you through the process of learning to wakeboard from starting off on the dock on a kneeboard (not compulsory, but recommended) to progressing to wakeboarding and learning to steer the board around the corners of the cable ski.

Our instruction consists of a safety brief and instruction followed by an opportunity to try out the sport yourself and ask for hints and tips from our instructor/operator as and when you need them.

Learning Some Tricks
Once you’re up and running on a wakeboard (likely after you’re first session, but everyone is different) you’re free to get started learning some tricks. Basic moves include 180’s, boardslides, grabs etc.

Riding the Wake Park
The kickers and sliders are a fantastic feature of cable wakeboarding and as soon as you get started you’ll no doubt be itching to get started on them! Please speak to one of our operators before attempting to hit any of the obstacles if you have not done it before. Learn more about the park on our Wake Park page.

Once you have learned a few tricks on the water or obstacles, why not enter our monthly competition series, the Ten Feet High Series. Its a rider league for multiple ability categories. Read more about the Ten Feet High Series.
