The excursions depart from Santa Giulia di Porto Tolle, near one of the few remaining typical "floating bridges" which evoke memories of times past. With our flat bottomed boats, we are able to visit the wildest and most evocative places of the Po Delta. It is a treasure trove of biodiversity ruled by birds, fish, and the hugely diverse botanical species wich grow in this salty wet land. During the trip we will travel down the tributary of the Po di Gnocca until we reach the mouth of the river where it meets the sea weaving our way through ancient lagoons, fishing sites, mudflats and mollusc beds along the way. From the cane thicket we will turn towards the "Island of Love" for an aperitif at the Goro Lighthouse, a walk along the shore to collect shells, and, in fine weather, a dip in the Adriatic sea. The excursions last approximately three hours, embarking at 10am and returning at 1pm, or with an afternoon departure at 3pm, returning at 6pm. By request we can also organize specific trips for photographers and birdwatchers who prefer the "magic" hour at dawn or sunset when thousands of water birds take to the air and reflections, colors and tricks of light are amplified. For keen fishermen there is the possibility to sample the fish caught during the trip. Price - 41 euro / person / day
