📋 Rental Terms & Policies ⛅ Weather Cancellations Your safety comes first. If the forecast calls for unsafe conditions (like storms or high winds), we’ll gladly reschedule your rental or offer a full refund—your choice. ⏰ Late or No-Shows Please arrive on time and ready to ride. A 15-minute grace period is offered. Late arrivals beyond that may result in reduced ride time or cancellation without refund. ⏳ Late Returns Timely return is important to keep the schedule on track. A late return fee of $50 per 15 minutes will apply for any time beyond the agreed rental period. Please communicate any delays—we’re flexible when we can be, but repeat or unapproved late returns may impact future bookings. ⏱ Minimum Rental Duration & Early Return There is a 3-hour minimum rental requirement. If you return early, please note that no refunds will be issued for unused time. 🦺 Safety & Age Requirements - Minimum age to rent is 25. - The credit card must be in the renter’s name. - Operators must be at least 16 years old, per Maryland law. - Operators born on or after July 1, 1972 must have a valid boater’s safety certificate, per Maryland law. - All riders and operators must be present at check-in, show valid photo ID, and complete a waiver. - Only riders and operators present at check-in—who have completed a waiver, shown valid ID, and received the safety briefing—are permitted on the vessel. - Life jackets (provided) must be worn at all times. - A quick safety overview is required before each rental. ⚓ Riding Rules - No reckless operation or wake jumping near other vessels - No towing or watersports unless pre-approved - Stay within designated riding zones discussed at launch - No alcohol or drug use before or during rental - Return the ski in the same condition it was rented 🛠 Damage & Liability A pre- and post-ride inspection will be completed together. Renters are responsible for any damage during the rental period. 📍 Launch Location Pickup and return take place at our private dock in Arnold, MD, or another nearby agreed-upon location on the Magothy River.
