Any adult who pays the rental price and the deposit for a vessel and should have a valid boat leader's license and marine radio operating exam to rent a vessel. Prior to the rental the charterer signs a contract in which the charterer guarantees that he or she: - possesses practical knowledge to operate a vessel - will treat the boat and all its equipment carefully - will respect and observe all naval laws - will use the vessel only for vacation reasons - will not lend the vessel to any other person - will return the vessel on time to the charter base ... If the boat rental includes skipper's services, the charterer does not need a navigation permit and does also not have to pay a deposit and sign a contract since in this case skipper bears the responsibility.
