Aquanaut diving, a diving school in Protaras, located located RIGHT ON the beach at GREEN BAY would like to try something new and exciting, trying scuba diving for kids is a great way to spend an afternoon during your family holidays in Protaras. For a first scuba dive, your kid does not have to be a great swimmer. However, it is recommended that they feel comfortable in water. The Bubbles program with Aquanaut Diving takes about 2 hours in total. Your kid will first be given a detailed briefing on how things will go and what to look out for. They will then be introduced to their scuba equipment, special gear made just for children so it fits them properly. Once your kid feels comfortable, he/she will jump in the water for about 30 to 45 min of underwater fun under the direct care of an Aquanaut Diving PADI instructor. Exploring the shallow waters of the Mediterranean, your kid will meet new underwater friends, from colorful fish to octopus, sea stars and more ! An initiation to scuba diving for kids is limited to a depth of 2 meters and is completely safe. Your kid will experience a whole new range of feelings, from breathing underwater and making their first bubbles, to the sensation of floating and flying under the surface.
