See the real Cambodian life on the Tonle Sap Lake's floating villages before cruising out to enjoy a special sunset over the lake from a unique setting. - This is a unique chance to explore the lake and flooded forest while taking in the beautiful village of Kompong Phluk, followed by watching a beautiful sunset aboard our floating restaurant, in the heart of the floating village. Departing at 12pm, your guide will collect you in our air conditioned minivan/car from your hotel, or guesthouse in Siem Reap, and then proceed to the floating village, approx. 15km (9.2 miles) south of Siem Reap. - On arrival you will proceed to the checkpoint where a private boat is waiting to take you on to the river. From there you'll proceed through the floating village and onto the great lake itself before cruising east to Kompong Phluk. Along the way there are many fishing boats and nets set up as this is the main industry out on the Tonle Sap. The lake is not only the world’s most productive fresh water fishing lake, but also South East Asia's largest.
