More advanced techniques are introduced each day as your confidence in whitewater increases. By the end of the course you should be ready to read and run grade III rapids under the supervision of more experienced paddlers! Season: All year. You can learn and practice the basic skills of kayaking in a safe and fun manner, and kayak down a river on your first day. A very exhilarating learning experience! Season: All year. They are proud river professionals who have been thoroughly trained in the technical aspects of river running, as well customer care, first aid, CPR and river rescue. Our raft guides and trip leaders meet the standards recommended by the International Rafting Federation, and surpass those required by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism. Our kayak guides and instructors are qualified by the American Canoe Association. Our jungle guides were born and grew up in the region and our hiking guides are equally at home in the mountains. Our sales and reservations staff, also English-speaking outdoors enthusiasts, are trained and experienced tourism professionals with first-hand experience of travel throughout the length and breadth of their country. They're always ready to give you a prompt response to your inquiries and to assist you in designing your itinerary. Our operations and administrative support staff complement the Rios Ecuador team.
