We will bleed, chill, and fillet your catch and help you pack it in your coolers. Features: The Karen Lynn is New England’s premier sport fishing charter boat, specializing in Bluefin Tuna, Monster Striped Bass, Cod and Haddock, and Sharks. The custom-built 43 foot Carol Lowell design, which was launched in 2007, is a state-of-the-art fishing machine. It is fast, extremely seaworthy, and has the latest and most sophisticated electronics to help us consistently put you on to big fish. The boat is built to stringent ABS structural standards, the Karen Lynn is incredibly stiff for its 14-ton displacement. It cruises comfortably at 18-20 knots powered by a 800 HP Scania Diesel. With twin, water-lift mufflers the boat is very quiet and trolls incredibly well. What To Bring: Here is what to bring on a fishing charter trip: You should bring waterproof boots or shoes, raingear or foul weather gear (always a good idea), medium to warm clothing depending on the season, plenty of sunscreen and a hat. Remember… just because the weather predicts 70 degrees, that will not be the temperature on the ocean. Cool ocean water and wind make it feel much cooler. Bring your lunch/snacks/beverages (no hard liquor please, and cans only), and coolers for your catch, which can be left on the dock or in your vehicle. There is a microwave, toaster and refrigerator for your use in the galley. We will have plenty of ice to chill your drinks and the catch. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Collin is a Licensed USCG Captain who has fished hard since he was a young child. Growing up in Gloucester on the Annisquam River, Collin was always on the water. After college, in addition to fishing, Collin worked and managed Fisherman’s Outfitter’s main shop in Gloucester. While there, Collin gained an incredible knowledge of gear, tackle, and rigging. Collin is definitely not “old school” when it comes to gear he is up-to-date on all the cutting-edge rigs and tricks, as he was featured in the pro issue of Salt Water Sportsman on “How to target Boston Bluefin” in 2011. He began fishing with Jim in 2003 on the Anna B and then helped Jim build the company in 2007 and has been running it ever since. Collin’s knowledge, experience, and incredibly positive attitude not only will help you put big fish on the boat but will make it a pleasure to be out with him.
