Captain Peter was a wonderful host and guide, and the Charles Edward is a awesome catamaran - it’s huge, gorgeous and comfortable. This was my first booking through GetMyBoat, and I give the experience and Captain Peter & the Charles Edward ALL THE STARS ⭐️ !
We had a great time sailing with Captain Pete and first mate Jolly! I appreciate being able to actively participate as I’m a sailor. We helped to launch, sail up, steered the boat and helped with mooring . The scenery sailing off Jamestown, passing Newport and getting out into the Atlantic is breathtaking. Fantastic experience overall!
Great experience on the water with Captain Peter and his adorable doggie co-captain Chollie. He put us to work and we learned a ton and then had a great day sailing, relaxing and celebrating. Very friendly and bonus.. great photography skills! Would highly recommend and will book again!
Family (2 + 2 teenage kids) trip to Cuttyhunk, then to Martha's Vineyard. 4 days and three nights aboard with Capitan Peter and canine first mate, Challie. The is was in excellent condition and well equiped. Peter is a very safe and experienced skipper, and is a pleasure to speak with. He enjoyed teaching our kids some boat handling and navigation skills. We would absolutely set sail with Peter again on the Charles Edward, and recommend Peter and his boat 5 stars. We had an awesome sailing trip.
Captain Peter and First Mate Chalie were the best sailing crew I can imagine. We booked on relatively short notice, but Peter worked us into his schedule. He showed us about sailing, Narragansett Bay, and made our trip around the bay comfortable and exciting. Our two daughters just loved Chalie. I cannot imagine a better trip. Cpt. Peter was stocked up on stuff in case of sea sickness and even changed course when the water got rough to a calmer area. I really cannot express how enjoyable the afternoon was or recommend Cpt Peter enough. If you are thinking about booking this, do it..
I'm Peter, Operator of an Uninspected Passenger Vessel, in other words, I'm a 6 pack captain licensed to take up to 6 paying passengers in US coastal waters. My boat is the Charles Edward, named after my father who taught me to sail.
