Sailing the Gulf of Thailand

A Celestial 44 , is a classic Ketch, 13.70 m long. Built 1986 with a major refit 2012 at the Hans Christian shipyard. She provided a beautiful teak interior and teak deck. The design is made for charter. With two equal aft cabins and one bow cabin the boat provide comfortable sleep for up to 6 guests. Her new set up included also a new Yannmar 75 hp marine engine, a new electric wiring and equipment. Air-Conditioning is available for all cabins and saloon. (Use fee for air-condition $ 5 USD/hour) The pantry is fully equipped with freezer,fridge,gas-stove and micro-wave. The Thida also provided a 800 liter fresh water tank. We have a dinghy with a 5 hp engine to get you comfortable to the beach. For your safety we provided life-jackets, life-belts and fire extinguisher. For passage over the gulf we do use a satellite-telephone for urgent calls.
