Lickety-Blaster River Rafting Trip in Kernville, California
If you're itchin' for a longer Kern River whitewater escapade that won't swamp your wallet, try our Lickety- Blaster. First, "get your feet wet" on a Lickety-Split run. Then, head back up river once more to put your newly honed whitewater skills to the test. On your second run, you and your guide may try to navigate some of the more difficult lines through the bigger Kern River rapids. The Maytag Wave at Big Daddy and the Rock Slot about Ewings are just two of our favorite spots to "visit" on the second run. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Like brothers and sisters do, Tom and Marianne Moore started out competing with one another. Who could swim faster, who could give the bigger noogie, who could burp louder? That (mostly) all changed in 1985. They'd each come to work on the Kern and they'd each fallen for the Wild Scenic River and the Southern Sierra Nevada. Holy smokes was there a lot of fun to be had in these mountains! So the siblings opted to shake hands, pull on their big people pants, and start a whitewater rafting and mountain sports company together. Today we offer: the oldest, largest, and most experienced whitewater kayaking school in SouthernCalifornia.guided whitewater raft trips on the Kern through Kernville as well as on theUpper Kern's Class III-V sections north of town. a brick-and-mortar outfitters store stocked with gear, clothing, and gifts forpaddling and mountain sports adventures.a central location in the river town of Kernville and a view of the Kern from thedeck.since 1995 an online River Store, where an actual person who knows paddling willhandle your order andor answer the customer service line.recreational kayak trips on Lake Isabella.rock climbing courses at local climbing areas.river tube rentals and shuttles at the end of the whitewater season. standup paddleboard (SUP) rentals classes .support for the Kern Valley River Council, the annual Kern River Festival, and Kern River Streambed and Park Restoration Project.award-winning location-scouting for film, television, and print media.
