The Cruiser 41 is the Giebelstadt shipyard’s latest model from its new and completely overhauled collection. Key features include a new deck design, generous interior and much more besides. As with all the Cruiser line yachts, the Cruiser 41 was designed in cooperation with Farr Yacht Design (USA) and Design Unlimited (UK). The Cruiser41 delivers freedom, luxury and outstanding sailing performance for circumnavigators and sailing families alike. The new, clean deck design features elegant lines and greater standing room in the forward cabin – all details that promote greater comfort and relaxation. At the stern, the roomy cockpit area has geometrically arranged seating areas, to ensure optimal comfort for all crew members. In addition, the new twin wheel steering provides superb handling and all-round visibility for the skipper. Below deck, the Cruiser41 is all about luxurious comfort and generous amounts of space. Her optimized hatches and the large side coachroof windows, which have already proved so popular on other Cruiser yachts, allow a maximum amount of light into the interior, making the living quarters even more comfortable. A further characteristic of the new Cruiser line are the rounded edges throughout the interior. The forward cabin now also features a larger bed for additional space and a more relaxing night’s sleep.

We are a RYA sailing school in Amsterdam, Holland, specializing in RYA sailing courses. We offer the whole range of RYA (Royal Yachting Association) courses from Competent Crew to Yachtmaster. From our location in Amsterdam we run a modern fleet of well-equipped yachts ranging from 32 - 42 feet. We are in the perfect location to explore the IJsselmeer and sail the North Sea and Waddenzee. Our professional instructors are a guarantee for high-quality sail training tailored to your needs. No matter if you are an absolute beginner or a more experienced sailor, After successful completion of the course.you will obtain a worldwide recognized RYA certificate Students live aboard for the duration of the course and it is an excellent opportunity to visit some of the scenic ports in the IJsselmeer and Waddenzee as we will stay in a different port every night. Frequently Asked Questions: What should I bring? Warm clothes, including hat, scarf, sailing gloves, thermal underwear and sailing gear (in the beginning is a waterproof rainwear also good). It is better to wear several thin layers over one another over two thick layers. For those who want to sail much is it worth to think about a breathable multilayer system. This normally consists of a thermal base layer, then a layer of fleece and a breathable waterproof layer as an outer shell. Furthermore, you should bring sunglasses, anti-sunscreen, toiletries, passport, sleeping bag, and towel. Take some money for trips ashore. What kind of shoes should I bring? Sail deck shoes or boots, and non-dispensing sneakers. Can I bring my mobile phone? You may, of course, bring your mobile phone. During the lessons, we ask that you turn off your phone so as not to distract other students. Except of course if you expect an important call. You generally will range up to you on almost all courses range about 10 miles offshore. Is providing food? All our multi-day practical courses we provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. We charge 22.50 euros per day for food, drink and port charges. Please note special dietary needs? Whenever possible we take into account special needs. Let us in the course books to know what you have dietary needs. Who cooks on board? Part of the sail training is life aboard a yacht. All tasks, including cooking, are distributed among the students and the instructor. Can I wash on board? There are toilets and washrooms on board. When we are, we use the facilities ashore in a port, as we shower. Should I do a sailing course to come sailing? No, if you wish you can sail a chosen period this. You can sail without a course. Can I smoke on board? You may smoke on board but we ask you to take into account other people, so smoking behind the boat and/or downwind. The smoking deck is not allowed. In theory, courses are non-smoking but we can insert smoke breaks if desired. Can I be sick? Even experienced sailors are occasionally seasick. If you know that you are sensitive to this, it is wise to take anti-seasickness pills like Stugeron.
