Offshore Gulf Stream Trip • 10 Hours: $1,175 What You Can Expect: We offer sound/inlet trips for fishing the mouth of the ocean and back in the flats of the sound for trout, drum, flounder, blues, Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, croaker, spot and much more. These trips are casting lures, live bait rigs or bottom rigs to lure the fish to your hook then your dinner table. Also, these trips usually provide high numbers of fish. We also offer the ocean/inlet trip for Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, amberjack, shark, blues, triggers and more. These trips are usually live bait or trolling lures. And then we have the "The Kids Adventure Trips". The little ones will learn about the different species of fish and have a rod in hand catching fish in no time. These 4-hour trips have plenty of action to keep the little one's interest and also keeps them in calm water. So no worries of any seasickness on this trip. What To Expect Onboard: We fish year round and 7 days a week aboard "Tarheel Tide", our 28 ft C-Hawk Fishing Boat powered by a 250 hp Yamaha Outboard. Frequently Asked Questions: Do we get to keep all the fish we catch? Yes, so long as they meet all state and federal regulations. Do I need a fishing license? No, the boat has a blanket license to cover everyone on board. Four people are going on the boat but only two are fishing. Do we just have to pay for two? No. You are paying for the boat. If you riding or fishing, you are a paying passenger. Do you clean our fish? No, but there are fish cleaning services available for a fee. Do you guarantee that we will catch fish? No, but we will make ever effort to put you on the fish. How many passengers can go at one time on a charter? Six passengers at a time are the max number of people. Is your rate prices per person or for the entire group? The prices are for the entire group and include everything except your own snacks and drinks. Can we bring beer on board? Yes Will I get seasick? Boat charters have a wonderful effect on those that get motion sick. If you feel as though you or someone in your group has a problem with motion sickness please consider taking a precautionary drug such as Dramamine, Bonine or Triptone at least 45 minutes prior to your charter's departure. No refunds will be issued due to seasickness. Can I bring kids and family? Sure, we love having kids on board, they sure make the day better. Do I have to know how to fish? No, that is what I am here for, I will show you the ropes and you will be casting and bringing fish before you know it.
