The skipper must be paid separately from GetMyBoat. The cost of the skipper varies depending on the size of the Vessel. The reason why skipper and fuel cannot be included in the price is that LAW does not allow it. CHARTERER (person renting the boat) is responsible for paying the captain fee and fuel separately from the GetMyBoat transaction on the day of the trip, and must be paid in cash or by Zelle before boarding. Additional Terms & Information
In case of cancellation of the reserved boat rental by the Client, regardless of the reasons, the Client shall inform the Company by e-mail about the cancellation without delay. The Client will be charged for the cancellation the amount of: 100% refund paid before 07 working days prior to the date of boarding. Up to 50% of the paid fare, if the cancellation has been made up to 06 working days before the charter start date - up to 100% of the paid fare, if the cancellation has been made less than 05 working days before the charter start date. The date of receipt of the written cancellation notice shall be the basis for the settlement of the indicated cancellation fees. Exceptionally, if the cancellation of the yacht charter booking is made due to force majeure, i.e. for serious objective reasons declared and proven by the Client (death of a close relative, serious health condition, serious accident, etc.) or in the case of acts of God (storms, hurricanes among others), the Company may allow the Client to use the amount already paid as a prepayment for the next booking within one year or full refund as the case may be. In the category of cancellations are also included the situations when the Client does not show up for check-in (case of no-show), or when the Client leaves the Yacht before the contracted departure time (case of early departure), in this case, the cancellation fee of 100% is applied and the Client is not entitled to any refund.
