Heavily built at forty eight tons and powered by a Cummins diesel engine, the schooner will afford its guests old world charm and comfort, combined with safety and mobility. Tyrone is 75 ft over all, 60 ft on the deck and 50 ft at the water line. This beautiful schooner sleeps nine. For chartering we afford six berths in two separate cabins. The forward cabin has 4 single berths and a basin. The main saloon has two double berths. The toilet, aka the "head", has a shower with running water. The stove has four burners and a double oven. There is a refrigerator and small freezer compartment, and running water. Electronics include EPIRB, GPS, VHF, Single Side Band, AM/FM with DVD, and a BBQ grill.
