Explore Santa Barbara Harbor with your own Kayak! Rent a Kayak from us in Santa Barbara, California. Rates as low as $15 per person/hour. Rates include kayak, kayak gear, orientation from an expert, changing rooms and hot shower. Your reservation is for 1 hour, but you can extend your time longer once you arrive. We prorate your time after that 1st hour, pay only for the time you use. This is valid on a per person basis. Typically paddlers see a variety of Sea Birds, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, Dolphins, and even whales! Once you arrive at the Paddle Sports Center for your kayak rental, you will fill out a waiver. We have changing rooms, lockers & wetsuits available for your use. After a brief orientation, paddlers will be escorted down to our floating dock where they will launch their kayak in the protected Santa Barbara Harbor. We offer a suggested route that passes by a variety of marine animals, views of both the Mountains and Channel Islands National Park, Stearns Wharf and a variety of other sights. Once your arms begin to tire, head back to our dock where a staff member will be available to help you return to our shop.
