EXPERIENCED LICENSED CAPTAIN * Licensed 100-Ton Captain for 22 years -- at Navy Pier (Chicago) and Santa Barbara Harbor (California). * Safely carried 338,000 passengers. * At Navy Pier (Chicago) I piloted 83-foot, 98-ton, 360-passenger architectural tourboats . In Santa Barbara Harbor (California) I piloted a 50-ton, 65-foot, 47-passenger motorvessel (Azure Seas) and a 16-passenger sailboat (Sunset Kidd II) in Santa Barbara (near-coastal Pacific Ocean). EXPERIENCED TALLSHIP OWNER AND SAILBOAT OWNER * From 2010 to 2019, I owned and sailed Tall Ship "Red Witch" (a wooden 77-foot, 41-ton, 49-passenger sailboat. * Red Witch II s a majestic fiberglass 55-foot, 19-ton, 30-passenger sailboat -- an 1906-design AMERICA'S CUP racing sloop (replica).

Ahoy! Thank you for considering a truly memorable sail aboard Red Witch II. Please note that sailing is (obviously) weather-dependent. The Captain reserves the right to determine whether or not weather is "inclement" -- up to the time of scheduled departure. Not we always try to inform potential passengers as early as we can in the case of cancellation due to indclement weather. You may BYOB -- canned beer and boxed wine (no glass) only. For your safety and protection, as this is a sailboat (which heels -- i.e., leans -- when sailing), all passengers remain seated during the sail. We promise you will LOVE this experience -- it is absolutely unforgettable. Our highly trained deckhand will help serve your drinks and take care of other needs. You may receive an 80 percent refund up to three weeks (21 days) prior to the scheduled date of departure. Please dress appropriately for the occasion. Flat-soled shoes are preferred. And you may want to bring a light windbreaker in case it is a bit chilly on the lake.
