What the fee of $700 for a full 8 hour day includes: General Information The use of a 25 foot Grady White Trophy boat with twin 200 hp Evinrude engines, 30 mph plus cruising speed. A notebook with all legal papers, registrations, insurances and other materials are in the cabin area. An additional set of keys is with the notebook. Emergency phone, VHF information and BOATUS numbers are promptly displayed on the cover. This boat is located in a marina that has free parking and security Times of rental: 10 am to 6pm winter when it gets dark earlier 8am to 4 pm Additional times over the contracted 8 hours will be charged an additional $60 per hour or parts of, unless agreed upon between owner and renter (emergencies and breakdown situations will not be charged) Rental and insurance is for US waters only. Use of the boat outside US waters (i.e. Bahamas) will result in an additional $1500 per day International Rental Fee and rental will be responsible for any and all costs or recovery up to and including the full value of the boat. In an effect to keep cleaning fees to a minimum, renter are expected to make a reasonable effect to clean the boat before returning to the slip. This is pertain to any fish blood or remaining bait. If the boat requires any additional cleaning, a $75 fee will be imposed. IMPORTANT!! BEFORE EVERY RENTAL, THE BOAT WILL BE COMPLETELY SANTIZED BY THE OWNER. ANY LEGAL REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING THE CORNOAVIRUS PANDEMIC WILL BE FOLLOWED BY THE RENTER. THIS INCLUDES SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN ANCHORING. ONLY UP TO 6 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED ON THE BOAT AT ONE TIME. The renter has the option to refuel the boat upon the return to the slip. If this is not possible, the owner will refuel the boat and send the renter a copy of the fuel receipt to be promptly paid. A signed Rental Agreement detailing and accepting the above terms along with a copy of the renter’s driver’s license and a credit card are required prior to renting the boat. Fishing The boat has a 9 foot bean, with a cockpit Bimini top. This top can be folded when fishing. There are rod holder in the cockpit plus several in the bow area. 2 15 foot TACO outriggers are side mounted. A 300 quart insulated fish box is behind the helm seat along with a 150 quart recirculating live well. There are two insulated bait boxes located in the stern. The chart plotter/sonar combination is a Garmin 7610xsv 10 inch screen. Sonar includes traditional, CHIRP, Livescope and Sidescan views. Cruising/Sandbar All Coast Guard related safety equipment is on board and up to date along with a professional first aid kit. A porta potty is located in the cabin area. Also plenty of storage area is in the cabin area. There are no sleeping areas. The anchor is on an electric winch. A handheld spotlight, helm light and LED spreader lights come with the boat. Beside a large cooler, there is a 95 quart insulated food/beverage box behind the passenger seat. Folding chairs and drink holders are standard The cockpit area is covered with a full canopy The gas tank holds 100 gallons of fuel, there are 3 batteries with an emergency battery jump starter. A fresh water hose wash down/ rinse off unit is standard. Diving A large 5 step folding swim ladder is mounted on the stern of the boat. It is advisable to take off diving gear before climbing the ladder. The cabin area is small but is can be used for dressing and storage of dive gear. The Garmin Chart plotter has been set up with the locations of shipwrecks, ledges, reefs, etc. these locations are constantly charging, so the locations given could vary. A large dive flag is on board, to be attached to the radio antenna when diving from the boat. It needs to be taken down when nobody is diving or snorkeling. All dive equipment needs to be secured so there is no damage to the boat deck. Keep an eye on the weather! Conclusion We want to thank you very much for choosing our boat for your rental.
