DIVES : The chance to come face to face with a manta or even with a great and friendly whale shark is real in São Vicente, undoubtedly one of the best islands for diving in Cape Verde. The nurse sharks, one of the very few species of sharks that can stand still without stifling, can be seen in most part of our spots, allowing infinite possibilities to photographers, or to any diver that has never experienced the thrill of being a few inches away of such a beautiful specimen and top predator. Cape Verde is a place of choice for sea turtle nesting. From the seven existing species worldwide, five occur in the archipelago, and of these, three are commonly seen in our dives in São Vicente. Biodiversity and quantity is such that you will often feel as being in a huge aquarium, totally surrounded by movement and colour, where each moment is unique and indescribable!
