What You Can Expect:

North Honeymoon Island Excursion ( 2 hour)

Departs Island Harbor Marina, follow ICW North towards northern tip of Honeymoon Island; returns same ; does NOT enter Gulf of Mexico. Considered a calmer / smoother sail since within confines of ICW Guaranteed Genoa sail unfurled (front sail) at least one or more legs of trip depending on wind direction; possible main sail raised, Never guaranteed, but highly likely to see Dolphins (anywhere along our route) and more rarely Manatee (within our marina or around the tip of Honeymoon Island) -- Increased probability of seeing wildlife the longer your cruise time. Consider the 3 or 4 hour cruise in this case.

Hurricane Pass/ Gulf of MX - Draw Bridge Raising (2 hour) -- Sunset Cruise

Departs Island Harbor Marina, follow the ICW South, calls to open Dunedin Causeway Bridge (we get to stop traffic... a Kodak moment as they say), turn East towards the Gulf / Hurricane Pass (the passage between Caladesi and Honeymoon Islands). We will just enter outside the passage for view of Gulf of Mexico and turn around and follow same route back. We get to open the draw bridge a second time going back! Considered a calm passage as we are primarily in the ICW, with the limited exposure at the mouth of the Gulf of Mexico at Hurricane Pass. This is a PRIME sunset location as it's an unobstructed view. A great day cruise option, but we also use this cruise for our Sunset Cruise. Sunset cruises start 1 Hr prior to the sunset that day of the cruise (sunset time changes day to day through out the year and becomes later in the evening as we approach mid June ). Enter Sunset Calculator Here to estimate your days departure time. Guaranteed front Genoa sail unfurling past the first bridge opening.

Dunedin - ICW - Draw Bridge Raising (2 hour)

Departs Island Harbor Marina, follow the ICW South, raising draw bridge and continuing south on the ICW toward Dunedin / Clearwater. We turn around at 1 hour of sailing (puts us typically in line with Caladesi Island to the East and downtown Dunedin to the West). We return the same way we came, again raising the bridge a second time... yoohoo! (it's fun stopping traffic ;), A calm, relaxed sail... should have several opportunities to unfurl the front Genoa sail and possibly the Main Sail.

3 or 4 Hour Cruises: distance varies widely based on amount of stopping; shore excursion time, etc. You custom tailor your experience and let Captain D know prior to your arrival date what you'd like to enjoy...

Need 5 or more hours! Stay and play all day!  Just contact us to layout your custom trip.  He knows the area from clearwater to anclote key.  Lots of white sand beaches and plenty of ocean to sail.  Lots of amenities included.

For the more adventurous and for those that want to experience an overnight stay on caladesi island at the state park... Our captain has got the ultimate package for you and your friends or family.  Caladesi island is one of the greatest beaches in america (even having won highest accolades over some of the finest hawaiian beaches)!  To stay the night on this island/ beach, one must posses a boat.  Folks visit all the time by ferry but typically stay only a few hours.  Now you too can have access to the island... Think of this package as a vacation home on a deserted isle !

What To Expect Onboard:

The catamaran, S/Y Three Moons, was only recently (July 2017) acquired by our captain. The vessel, previously known as "Two Can", sat in this very spot for the past 5 years and needed a complete refit and make over. This process was undertaken July 2017 and after a laborious undertaking, completed in January 2018, just in time for the sailing season.

This vessel is inspected by the USCG (voluntarily) and all safety equipment on board.

We provide light snacks, cold water and pink lemonade .  We also provide use of two SUPs (stand up paddle boards) for shore excursions.
