When will I be charged?

When you accept an owner's offer, GetMyBoat will charge you for the full amount of the booking (which includes GetMyBoat's service fee).

 

Can I use more than one payment method to pay for a reservation?

No. Unfortunately, GetMyBoat cannot split the cost of a reservation with multiple payment methods. However, you can save multiple payment methods in case you would like to request a reservation for a business excursions and have personal payment method for a private excursions.

GetMyBoat accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

 

Can I pay with any currency?

The currency you pay with is determined by your payment method and sometimes country. Check with your credit card company as they may charge additional fees if you are paying in a different currency than your country’s currency.

 

When do I pay for a reservation?

Once you accept an offer, GetMyBoat will charge the full reservation amount to the payment method you have saved in your account.

 

When will I be charged?

You will be charged upon accepting an owner's offer.

 

What methods of payment does GetMyBoat accept?

Currently GetMyBoat accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. However, in the near future, GetMyBoat will be accepting more methods of payment.

 

 

Can I go off of the GetMyBoat website to pay for my reservation?

No. Paying an owner outside the GetMyBoat website violates GetMyBoat’s Terms of Use.

 

Can I get a refund?

If you would like a refund you must submit a claim to GetMyBoat within 30 days of the reservation completion date. If the owner does not agree, then GetMyBoat will gather more information from both parties and be the mediator. It is at the discretion of GetMyBoat’s as to whether an owner will pay the guest a refund. If deemed appropriate GetMyBoat will refund the guest within 30 days of the claim issue date.  

 

Why is my credit card getting declined?

Credit cards can be declined for a number of reasons. GetMyBoat is not always given the reason for this. 

Common issues that you may want to check is that you are entering your credit card number and billing address correctly, that your card has available funds, and that your card hasn't expired.

Contact your bank or card issuer if you are getting an error when you try to pay, we recommend reaching out to your bank or credit card company for more information. Inform them of the amount and when tried to make the charge so they can let the transaction go through.
