Swim with whale sharks whom patrol the tropical waters of Ningaloo Reef. We have options to suit; from half day snorkelling tours with manta rays, to daily reef dives that showcase amazing Ningaloo Reef in all its glory.

We use our local knowledge to take you to untouched areas of Ningaloo Reef on our outer reef safaris’, and use planes for spotting Ningaloo Reef whale sharks giving you the best chance to swim with these mystical creatures of the deep. We have a Coral Bay adventure to suit!

Ningalo Reef Dive Tours

You must be a confident, advanced swimmer to engage in the humpback whale interaction part of this activity. This unique interaction during the tour has a maximum of 5 passengers in the water at any time. The opportunistic encounter is dependent on numerous factors, we cannot guarantee an in water interaction with a humpback whale due to behaviour of the whale, weather conditions etc. We will however endeavour to show you the best day on the reef with finding as much marine life as we can!

Whale Shark Adventure

Full Day tour meeting at 7.30am. Includes all government charges, our spotter plane, professional and experienced guides who are all trained in senior first aid and water rescue techniques. All of your equipment is supplied including wetsuits, mask, snorkel and fins along with a full buffet lunch and refreshments provided throughout your tour, including tea, coffee and fresh water.

Swimming along with the biggest fish in the world is simply an incredible encounter you will always remember. We use a spotter plane to guide our vessels to the Whale Shark enabling us to maximise our success rate. Our dedicated crew are passionate about the conservation and research of the mystical creatures of the deep with our aim being your safety first and your time spent in the water swimming with these elusive creatures.

Available March to July

No Sighting Policy: 1 x repeat opportunity per customer on the next available tour. If you are not able to go on your allocated repeat tour we will give you an open ended voucher (no expiry date) to be used at another time. Vouchers are only redeemable for a tour, no cash will be refunded. $25 per adult from the cost of your tour goes to the Department of Environment and Conservation towards Whale Shark research and conservation.

Rental Requirements

No Sighting Policy

All tours are subject to minimum passenger numbers and weather conditions. Refunds are only given when tours are cancelled due to weather or not meeting minimum passengers required. All booking cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of your tour date to receive any refunds.

While every effort is made to locate the wildlife mentioned in our above tours, our tours are “nature based” and we cannot guarantee sightings. This is not a common occurrence as we operate our tours during the known times of the year for the specific creatures to be around the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park.

All tours are conducted under DEC license conditions to ensure sustainability of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, surrounding environment and all its wildlife for future generations to enjoy and appreciate.
