Go fishing in Auckland, New Zealand on 38 ft Lidguard "Riko Riko" from $110 NZD per day. Boat comes with fishing gear, tackle & bait.

Riko was built by Joe Donaldson in 1969 in Auckland, Lidguard Design, DD Kauri Glassed over. Has a great commercial record from Northland to the South Island. Now she has been fishing out of Bayswater in Auckland for the last 7 years. With good adequate space and enough cover for all weather which still gets you a 360 view of whats going on around you.
The skippers onboard are experienced at fishing on all levels.

Our main target Fish are Snapper, Kahawhai,Trevally ,Gunard,Jon Dory,squid and Kingfish.
You will enjoy your time with Riko Boat Charters because we enjoy taking people out.
We are Ezy going as you can see from the pics have lots of fun.

We target Snapper, kahawai, Trevally, kingfish, gurnard and jon dory.

Prices:

• For Charter:

  • $110 NZD per day includes rod,bait and tackle.


• Weekend Group Bookings: $990 NZD for 8 hours

• Weekdays:

  • 4 people $195 NZD per person
  • 6 people $135 NZD per person

Rental Requirements

• Other Information:

  • All group bookings are from 2 up to 10 people max 
  • We require a minimum number of 8 individials to make an day charter
  • Day trips start times 10 am - 12 pm or flexible 
  • Duration 8 to 9 hours sometimes more
  • All Children must be actively supervised by their own caregiver at all times.
  • Any Medical conditions should be notified to the skipper.
  • Alcohol is permitted in moderation and is the discretion of the skipper.


What to Bring:

• Autumn/Spring & Winter Fishing:

  • Most fishing starts normally at 10 am-6 pm or 12 pm-8 pm
  • Be prepared for a long travel time out to the fishing grounds
  • Good opportunity to have lunch with a tea or coffee
  • On the way back is plenty of time to clean and pack your fis
  • If individual charter minimum of 8 people to go max 10 pax
