Our base at Carrybridge is situated midway between Upper and Lower Lough Erne, in sheltered river waters, so even the complete novice will not be hampered by weather conditions on arrival.

The Boat

This "Erica of Erne" is a 31ft self drive luxury yacht powered by a 65 hp diesel engine. "Erica of Erne" has cabin with two (2) single beads, a mid cabin with double bed and a saloon settee that can be converted to a large single bed. Boat also comes with a large toilet compartment with shower, flush toilet and hand basin.

Short breaks, (three nights) are offered at a flat rate regardless of the time of season, and are
normally book-able a maximum of two weeks ahead of the starting date only. We do not discount for a
one/two night stay.

Refundable security/damaged deposit:

£400.00 payable on each craft hired

Extras (per week):

• Outboard motor/fishing dinghy including 5 liters fuel: £75.00.
• A refundable security/damaged deposit of £400.00 is payable on each craft hired.

Additional Services:

We offer two options of airport transfers between major airports and our marina. Our “Group
transfer” is available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday only, for arrivals not later than 1900 hrs,
and departures not earlier than 0800 hrs. Prices are “per person return”.

• Belfast international airport: £45.00.
• Dublin airport: £45.00.

A “Private transfer” is also offered at a price of £190.00 per single journey by minibus (maximum of
8 persons), or £290.00 per single journey by midi bus (maximum of 16 persons). A private service is
available on any day.

Rental Requirements

Conditions of Hire for Cruisers:

Embarkation  

Embarkation time is between 16:00 and 20:00 on the commencing day of hire period.  

Novice Hirers

Novice crews will normally be expected to accept an additional period of free instructions prior to the craft being handed or to them.

Return of Craft

Craft must be returned and vacated in a clean condition not later than 09:00 hour on the final day of hire. Failure to comply with this condition will result an extra charge of £50 per hour late. After checking in, if the craft is found to be in a clean and undamaged condition, the security/damage deposit will be refunded. Crews who return craft in an unclean condition can expect to pay between £100 & £150 from their security/damage deposit.

Service and Repairs

Each staff members uses extreme care to ensure craft are in good order when handed over, but the company cannot be held responsible to any delay in the hirers programme due to breakdown or the completion of necessary maintenance. Should repair be necessary during a period of hire, the hirer must notify the company and repair will be effected at no cost to the hirer unless the cause of the breakdown is due to the negligence of the hirer or his/her crew.

Passengers

Passenger other than those notified on the booking form must not be carried on our craft at any time without the permission of the company. Hirers found to be in breach of this condition will have their charter terminated forthwith.

Accidents

It is the hirers responsibility for the safe navigation of the craft on charter. In the even of an accident, the hirer must notify the company immediately with full details of the event and the names and address of any witnesses.

Delays

The company cannot be held responsible for any delay to the hirers programme due to navigational works, etc. outside the control of the company.

Availability of craft

If due to unforeseen circumstances outside the control of the company the craft booked is not available, every effort will be made to provide a similar craft. If this is impossible, the booking deposit will be refunded in full and the hirer will have no claim against the company.

Pets

Prior permissions must be obtained at the booking stage before any pets are permitted aboard any of our craft. It should be noted that where permissions is granted. There will be inevitably be a cleaning surcharge of £100 - £150 when the craft is returned.

Fuel

Craft are handed over to hirers with full fuel tanks. On return from hire, craft have the full fuel tanks replenished and the hirer is charged for the amount of fuel used at current rates.

Hirers Property

The company or the company insurers accepts no liability for loss/damage to hirers property.

Towing

Under no circumstances must our hirers either give or accept a tow to/from another craft without prior permission. Please note, this rule is absolutely rigid as past experience has shown that such actions can lead to fatalities. If you experience a breakdown or run aground whilst travelling, stop the engine immediately, lower the anchor, then contact us.

Navigational Restrictions

Navigation is permissible only during daylight hours. The company reserved the right to restrict craft from any part of the waterway should abnormal water levels/weather conditions or other navigational problems deem this necessary. Additionally, the company reserves the right to refuse to hand over a craft to any hirer who the company deems is unfit to take charge. Hirers who are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs will not be permitted to take charge of any of our craft. In so doing, we will accept evidence from various agencies (eg; police service, waterway wardens, marina managers etc.) When making such decisions. It must be understood that such restrictions are in the interests of all lake users safety and well being, our own hirer included.

The company will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies that may exists due to changes in circumstances.
